1 million users in Australia - LinkedIn is becoming difficult to avoid!

There are now over 60 million LinkedIn users worldwide and it is claimed that a new users signs up every second!

With over 3.5 million users in the UK and more than 1 million in Australia LinkedIn is becoming difficult to avoid! In this informative, fast paced session Mark Williams (Known as Mr LinkedIn) will show us why we should be using this powerful networking tool and how we can ensure that our time on LinkedIn is productive and enjoyable.

“Mark truly is 'Mr LinkedIn'! Teaching the beginners, adding value to the more experienced and trouble-shooting our questions. Mark achieved all these goals in an enjoyable, fast-paced and highly informative session. I recommend him without hesitation.”

“Mark delivered one of the most inspiring and motivating training courses I have attended in a long time. Captivating content and professional delivery - Fantastic!"

Speaker: Mark Williams, Founder and Managing Director of ETN Training

Having spent nearly 20 years in the recruitment industry in the UK I learnt the benefits of having strong professional networks.
I first heard about Linkedin when (like most of us) someone invited me to connect - I didn't really know what it meant but I accepted the invitation anyway out of curiosity more than anything else! Having connected with this individual I found I couldn't resist checking their profile to see who else they were connected with - in this list were several people I also knew and some others who I had lost contact with. I then started to realise that this tool could prove to be very useful!

I began to see the benefits of LinkedIn - for advertising my business, researching new customers and (as a recruiter) finding candidates it became an invaluable tool. As I started to explore its ever increasing features I found it difficult to obtain the information and training required to master Linkedin so in 2008 I decided to start up a training business aimed at providing this service to others.

I spent months researching, attending training courses and interviewing experienced LinkedIn users across the world and I now enjoy passing that knowledge on to my delegates. Initially I focussed on training recruiters (who are some of the most enthusiastic users of LinkedIn). I soon realised that this tool was of significant benefit to all people in business who want to reach out to thousands and often millions of business professionals throughout the world. I have developed courses aimed at Business Development Executives who wish to leverage LinkedIn contacts for the purpose of target client research, market analysis/intelligence and a general course for executives who are keen to understand how LinkedIn can benefit them in their career.

My workshops are designed to give you the right knowledge and skill to get out there and make things happen - with particular emphasis on embracing the internet and using modern networking tools to your advantage.

Anyone who has attended one of my courses will tell you that I believe passionately in what I am doing. Experience has taught me that successful use of LinkedIn is about goal setting, focussed activities and ensuring that you connect with as many (of the right people) as possible.

"This year will be a great year for those that believe it will be"

Having prospered in the last recession we can assure you that there will be some BIG winners during these challenging times.

Will you be one of them?
