This course provides an update concerning the application of IFRS in the UK. Delegates requiring an annual update as regards recent changes and developments only would be advised to attend this event.
Delegates who are new to the UK would be advised to attend the “Introduction to IFRS in the UK event” (Sat 18 Sept 2010).
By attending this event, delegates will obtain a clear understanding of the many changes to IFRS in 2009/10 and an appreciation of the extensive changes anticipated over the following twelve months. Recent problems encountered by UK companies in applying IFRS will be explained.

Speaker: Guy Loveday is a partner in the Professional Training Partnership and is a member of the lecturing panels for The ICAEW and The ICAS. Guy specialises in Auditing and Financial Reporting updates for accounts in practice and industry, and in Finance courses for members of the wider financial community. He also provides a consultancy service to assist companies in preparing their annual financial statements and has assisted a number of listed companies in preparing for the transition to International Accounting Standards. He makes occasional television appearances and has regularly written for Accountancy magazine for years.
